Virtual Learning
Portal, VLE, MLE and other such terms have been used to describe the function of a learning platform. In essence a learning platform is a group of specialised tools, accessed through a website, which are designed to aid schools in achieving their goals.
Schools across the UK are at different stages in adopting a learning platform. Implementation not only has a financial cost but also requires investment of time, planning and rollout. At E-education we have invested heavily in understanding the needs of students, teachers, parents and local authorities.
We are about to revolutionise the education industry with our new website system called 'eVolve'. It goes beyond current learning platforms and will set the benchmark for industry-standard software. New media technologies are developed throughout including social networking, messaging, content media storage, mobile communication and portfolio development. Exploiting these new technologies will not only improve teaching and learning but also stimulate an improved educational experience.
